Decepticon Headquarters (Unnamed University in Polyhex)
Megatron’s home and primary location a building that is tall, conically shaped, constructed of metals, glass, gears and automated systems. From the outside it is tall though not very large at the base, with a moderate amount of viewing windows up the side, many of which appear reinforced with metal shutters. Despite its re-purposing as a base of operations for a rebel military group it still retains some feel of being a place of learning from its past life. The only still operational entrance to the building is a rather large doorway, easily tall enough for Megatron to walk into, but also wider than even the winged mech needed for clearance, with automatic doors that opened for all those with permission and closes behind them.
Directly inside the door there is a sizable antechamber, bit enough to fit a dozen or so large size mechs before it starts feeling too crowded. On the wall directly across from the door there is a large holoscreen that is set up and on it is a simple bit of writing.
Welcome, one and all, feel free to come in and stay as needed. I beg your forgiveness as your host if I am unable to come greet you right away, I will see to you as soon as I can. In this place there are only a few simple rules that must be followed.
1. Do not instigate fights, either through physical actions, words or other forms of communication.
2. If a fight is being directed at you, do everything in your power to avoid it, this includes coming to me.
note: Rules may be added at any time, at my discretion, I do not wish to add more rules but I will not permit unkind or rude actions from anyone.
If you are found breaking these rules willfully while in full understanding of them I will request that you leave this place, I request that you do not force such a situation.
Your host,
Megatron
There are doors on either wall adjoining that one, both leading into a common area that wraps around the whole back portion of the building. Next to the holoscreen is a lift leading up the center of the building. The second floor holds what can only be termed as a council room, a large holoscreen in clear view of the whole room, a large table with numerous seats of Cybertronian size, and a few data pads scattered about. Though the data pads will activate at anyone’s touch they are password locked as well as being attuned to the energy signature of their specific owners and will not unlock for anyone else. The third floor is partitioned into a couple sections, one looks to be a medical bay filled with various machines, holoscreens and other Cybertronian health paraphernalia. The other side looks to be a large, fairly complicated scientific lab and has a nameplate with the name “Starscream” written on it; unlike all the other doors so far this one does not open for anyone but Megatron and he must be spoken to in order to gain access.
For two more floors above that there are some more labs, though these are less complex as the third floor lab, they are open to use by anyone who wishes it. The remaining five floors above that are all recharge and personal quarters, with five rooms per floor. The first of the sleeping room floors has four doors that will not open again, each one bearing a nameplate, “Megatron”, “Starscream”, “Soundwave”, and “Shockwave’”. These rooms are unclaimable and Megatron will not be making them available to anyone but himself and their original owners. On each floor there is also a small, utilitarian wash rack and cleaning station. There is also a minor area where energon is kept on each floor for ease of access for the troops.
Every area of the base inside and out, with the exception of personal spaces such a sleeping rooms, is monitored by a surveillance system, this system is mostly autonomous, but can be accessed and reviewed with the right clearance from any console in the base. In each room there is an accesses console, which looks and acts much like a wall mounted computer, for general base wide use. Each individual gets their own private log-in, which will automatically register with their presence and will allow them to work on and save anything they wish to the main computer, while keeping it protected from a majority of inhabitants of the base. Megatron, as well as his command staff, have access to any and all materials, as a precaution against potential spies or dissenters; Megatron himself is unlikely to police the data unless there is highly probable cause to make him think he needs to.
